General Motors started in 2002 to think about outsourcing the worldwide spare parts supply for vehicles of the brand OPEL, which have not been produced for more than 12 years, as far as possible to an external service provider.
From the beginning HEISTER-GROUP participated in the worldwide call for tenders with great interest.
Due to our long-standing cooperation with the brand OPEL and the experience grown in dealing with customers at home and abroad, we considered ourselves a qualified applicant for the project of ADAM OPEL AG.
It should last until the beginning of 2004 to receive a final decision.
Their location Trier in the heart of Europe, the very good infrastructure of Germany, their experience with the brand OPEL, and their employees rnthusiasm for the brand OPEL are some of the convincing arguments for GENERAL MOTORS and the ADAM OPEL AG to select HEISTER-GROUP as partners.
We are very proud to be allowed to guarantee the world-wide spare parts supply of OPEL`s original spare parts for ADAM OPEL AG and regard the confidence they and also our clients had and have in us as a meed for our work in the past and at the same time as a challenge for the future.


Region / Infrastructure



Our location is situated to a certain extent in the heart of Europe.
Based on the excellent outstanding connection to the European freeway and water route net, the three large airports in Saarbrücken, Luxembourg and Frankfurt as well as the international ports in Antwerpen, Amsterdam and Rotterdam are attainable within short time. It takes at most 48 hours between placing of order and delivery in Germany.




Real estate

Our wholesale warehouse is situated in the state capital of the Saarland, in Saarbrücken. On an expanse of 6800 sqm all available new parts are professionally accommodated. The building is attached to our carshop HEISTER Saarbrücken and shows a long tradition as a wholesale warehouse since the building has been constructed at the beginning of the seventies. A total of 20 employees is working on four floors.




Employees

Due to our experience from the set-up of three wholesale warehouses for the manufactures Ford and Opel in Trier and Kaiserslautern, we are able to ensure a professional handling of orders for our customers. All existing resources can be used optimally, as our 7-lingual Call Center does not only care only for the telephone order acceptance but also for the customer service. The employees in the Call Center therefore guarantee the interface between the specialists for parts & accessories and the customers` technical questions.





Logistics and dispatch


Every day 20 employee are exclusively occupied to arrange and pack your ordered goods in our dispatch department. A well adjusted team,which is able to dispatch several 100 mailings every day.
